I have a 1999 dodge ram 2500 4x4 p-up 5.9l.I am trying to change my rotors on this truck.I have been struggling trying to get the center nut off which is approximately a 1&3/4inch socket to come loose.I am scared if I keep trying to force it I will damage the threads or something else.It is extremely tight and would appreciate any advice.

your talking bout the one that holds the wheel assemply on the axel i hope? if so that one can take quite the pressure, make sure your using a 6 point socket not a 12 point also a impact would help it come off without to much tension.
