When I turn the ignition to crank there is no click or crank?

The truck has a fully charged battery. When I turn the ignition to crank there is no click or crank.I just got the truck a couple weeks ago and noticed that there would always be a slight delay before the engine would actually crank when the key switch was engaged but now there is nothing. The truck was running fine up to this point.

This sounds like the starter has gone bad but to be sure let's check for power at the trigger wire at the starter solenoid. This guide can show you how

Here is how to change the starter motor out in case you need it. Also, try to crank it over in neutral this will help test the gear range sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
