connection to ac control crumbled, what is the proper sequence or pattern for the connector

This is what I found, Federal for 5.2(318)

On the (bottom, front) inside of your hood, there should be a sticker that says which of Federal, Califormia or Canada your vehicle complies with. It also helps to know which V8, 318 or 360 in some cases, luckily the AC vacuum is simple for the most part and only changes between few styles -- early and late-model or V6 / V8, but some of the other components are in variable places. Some go to the ASRV solenoid before going to the manifold source and others go directly to the manifold source.
