This vechile battery will not hold a charge. Battery has been replace. Alt replace. Show little amp draw when checking. When I unhook negative cable it will hold a charge. Install a battery disconnect on postive cable. After couple of days of sitting with disconnect in use the battery will lose it charge. Tried different battery with same result. Any ideas? Thank you

Hi Jeff,

What is the draw? You say little draw. A draw of 1 - 3 amps can drain battery enough over night that vehicle won't turn over. Also I suggest you remove the battery disconnect. It is not good for newer vehicles. It can create a relearn proccess which will cause you vehicle to run rough and/or have other drivability problems.

Some causes of battery drain...

Shorted Wires

Bad Grounds

Loose Connections

Accessories continuously plugged (ex: cell charger)
