1996 Dodge Stratus Heater fan

My heater fan only works on the highest setting.. can you tell me why? And what can I do to fix it?

most common cause for this is a faulty blower motor resistor. replacement of the resistor is required. first test your blower motor relay, if it tests good then suspect faulty resistor.
