1994 Dodge Spirit

Sounds like two different problems. For the air bag light, suspect a broken clock spring under the steering wheel. Eventually the horn and cruise control won't work either if that's the cause.

Watch when the dinging starts. If it's as soon as you put the key in the ignition, suspect a door switch. Open each door, one at a time, and push the switch in by hand. If the dinging stops, holler back. Many of the switches are adjustable.
