1990 Dodge Spirit 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
My car wasn't starting yesterday so I figured it may need new plugs and wires. I bought them at a local store and put them in but the wires I bought were for a 1991, not a 1990, because I mistakenly told the clerk I needed parts for a 1991. I actually have a 1990, so I initially put the wires in one at a time, but when I went to return the new wires I didn't think and just pulled them all and when I got back I hooked them up the way I thought they should be. I just want to verify I put them in correctly so I get no backfires once I get the fuel pump replaced. The way I have them hooked up is as follows if looking from the front under the hood:
The dots represent the ignition coil or distributor, whatever it is exactly that the wires are hooked to. The middle dot is hooked up to something else but not the plugs. Is that the correct pattern? I'm gonna go find a chilton manual hopefully this morning but it would save me some time if you could help me out.
Thanks,
Brian
