The heat will not blow out the floor.
But it will blow out the defrost and vent.
Do you have to remove the dash and drain the freon out of the a/c to replace the mode doors?
The dealer wanted $1,000.00 to do the job.
Can you tell me the best manual to buy for the Situation cd or down load.
thanks.

Just did one of those last week, yes you have to remove the entire dash to access the box to do repairs.Labor guide only shows about 4-5 hours for the repair, you may want to find a shop other than the dealer to do this, they are hitting you pretty hard, the mode door actuator is only $100 plus 5 hours of labor, should come to $1000. Aside from the A/C evacuation and recharge, the instructions you find at Eautorepair.com will walk you through it
