HAs the check engine light come on? Is it using or leaking coolant? Have you done anything to the cooling system?

Yes check engine light came on. Can't find any leaks

went to auto zone and shows # 5 cylinder is misfiring
I have change the thermostat and waterpump
but still running hot. Coolant goes into overflow tank
after you drive it to work about 14 miles and home
sometimes it will get hot and sometimes it want.
Have to keep putting coolant in.( But will not go back into radiator coolant)

I think you have a headgasket problem. Chances are it deals with cylender 5. Have you noticed any white smoke from the exhaust? Have you checked to make sure there is no coolant mixing with the engine oil?

I recommend checking engine compression. It sounds like a bad head gasket.

I would explaine it, but there are so many variables, it is hard to do via the internet. It allows too much room for error. I believe you can get access to Mitchel online via this web site. It is cheaper than getting a repair manual. However, if you can't get it here, I recommend getting a good repair manual with step by step instructions and pictures to help identify parts.
