I have a 2004 Ram with the 4.7L. I just bought it 2 weeks ago. I went out today to check the oil and noticed "the white foam" in the oil. Is the only problem related to this a cracked head/ blown gasket, or could it be something else?. Thanks

it is most likely a blown gasket or a crack in the head or cylinder,do you also have alot of white colour oil in your oil filler cap that is normal .to know for sure you will have to take your cylinder heads off. (to see if it is just water build up from idling or town driving
).Pour 1 qt of ATF in the oil ,go for a short drive when change your oil and filter ,drive for about a week and see if it comes back. The ATF is high in detergent which will clean all the milky oil out of engine
