2002 Dodge Ram Computer /engine

I brought a 2002 dodge ram for my son 8 months ago. Its not under warrentee. It will start but wont hold an idle. Then just shuts off. I'm told the ECM is shot. I live inthe atlanta area. Is there anyway to get a new one or used one?

You can buy them at parts stores. Advance auto parts sells it for 532.99 I think you bring in your old one and they send it to be remanufactured.
