My son bottomed the truck out on a culverted drive bending the stem of the ball joint. The joint is riveted to the rocker arm. Can the ball joint be replaced or do I have to replace the entire rocker arm?

As long as control arm is not bent then you cut rivets and replace ball joint. New one will bolt on.
