when using the a/c or heater with the fan and I increase my driving speed they will stop working. As soon as I ease back on the gas pedal they will start working again.

DO you mean the fan shuts off or does the direction change from (for example) vents to defroster?

Start at the fan motor itself. Chances are there is a short or loose connection.

Let me know what you find.

I checked the fan and also r and r it and found nothing wrong. I was told that there is a resister that is part of the wiring make-up and it may not be working properly. Have you heard of this and could this be part of the problem. Kevin

There is a blower motor resister. However, when they are bad, usually the only thing that happens is the fan will only run on high speed. It is sort of a default setting. The slower speeds will not work.
