Are you planning to replace the entire cable or just get replacement terminals?

Which ever is easier - I can do either.
I assume replacing just the terminals would be easier but I can replace the entire cable if that's your opinion of the easier repair.

Hi:
When you get the replacement terminal, you will see two bolts on the top of it. Loosten them. Next, cut the old terminals from the cables and strip aprox 1 inch if insulation from the end of the cable. Now slid the exposed wire under the clamp that you loostened on the replacement terminal. Tighten it and thats done.

How should I properly cut the cable wire? Is there a particular tool I should use other than a wire cutter?
Thanks, R

I would just use a good set of side cutters.
