my truck started acting up the other day i would start it and it wouldnt idle now when i up it in drive or reverse it hesitates to move will one of my battery cables broke off due to corrison and i think that maybe causing all this problems because before that i had no problems at aLL

Has the check engine light come on? Which cable broke? Was it the + and did it short out on anything?

it was the negative cable that broke and the engine light never came on i dorve it eariler and my rpms run high when i get to about 45 mph around 3000 rpms so i think it maybe my transmission going out
