seat belt light wont go out?

i have a 1998 dodge ram quad cab 1500 25,000 miles, recently i noticed the seat belt light wont turn off on the dash board after i start the truck and buckle up. can you please tell me what to do? i have replaced the fuse that goes to that light with a new one and that did not help. thanks in advance. :(

There is switch in the seat belt receiver that has gone out and you need to replace it.
