I have a 97 dodge pu 1500. The code says 1456 and when I researched it, it says leak detected in evap control system. Can someone tell me if there is a certain spot to check or is it going to be complicated and need a tech to check and repair it.

First I would like you to check to see if your gas cap is on properly, and make sure the rubber o ring in it and the gas filler hose is good and not cut or cracked.
