When I start my truck up in the morning I have a massive white cloud of smoke coming form my tailpipe after it sits for along period of time. Plus it uses up oil like crazy but it smells rich for some reason. What could be causing this to that please help.

THe white smoke usually indicates a bad head gasket allowing coolant to get into the combustion chamber. Have you noticed if the coolant level is slowly going down?

Actually the coolant level is normal so that is what i'm confused about. I had a diagnostic test ran on today and it came back only the oxygen sensor was bad and that is all so could that be a part of it sense it needs oxygen and if it's not getting the adequate amount of oxygen it burns the oil with the gas doe that make sense? I don't know
