My truck has a locked rear in the front, it has a snapped axel component which comes from the axel out to the hub assembly ect. Can someone please give me a step by step instructional on how to replace this part? Also, I need to replace my driver's side ball joints; But i am unaware of how to remove them and replace them. I've got the garage, friends with mechanical skill, and the tools, i just need expert advice to reasure myself that im doing it correctly. Thank You. Sincerely, Matt.

This is an involved process. I hate to say it but for me to try to explaine it via the internet allows too much room for error. I recommend getting a good repair manual that has step by step instructions and pictures for identifying parts. They offer a repair manual for a cheaper price on this site. You may want to check it out.
