In the vacuum diagram in the above link, there is a vacuum hose that runs from the brake booster to the "VSC". Can you please tell me what the "VSC" is, and where it is located. This hose is dangleing in the engine compartment and the car is running rough at Idle, and has a cyl. #2 misfire code. One of the possible causes listed is a vacuum leak. The car has new plugs and wires, and the same code returns after being cleared. (Possible bad coil pack or fuel injector, or timing belt?) Thanks in advance, DON.

That hose goes to the vehicle cruise control.
