Unfortunately, this is NOT a good thing. Your most likely answers are
1. A blown head: in this instance, there is usually a loud racket made by the motor when idling or driven and the car will heat up really fast
2. A warped head: there won't be alot of noise but there will be the brown sludge which is an instant indication of oil in the antifreeze when your car is also overheating
3. A blown head gasket: the head gasket is either torn or somehow it's seal has been broken (most likely excessive heat in the motor)
this is not an easy thing to fix and I'd recommend you take it to a really good engine shop. Hope this helps you!
