I have determined that my 02 sensor is bad via the codes, but don't know whether it is the one before/after the converter. Any advice on how I can tell? Thx, Lee

The five digit obd11 code, should give you the location.
I don't believe the two digit code will. Can you give us the obd11 code?

Some of the national brand autostores will read P0 codes for free. It may not be the sensor, might be a sensor circuit.

Sure thing! Here's the 2 codes I got, plus there's more. PO134, & PO140. I believe the second is the sensor, (not sure about the first one). Also I just went for emission testing today, and it failed. DUH! LOL Anyway, on the readout they gave, it said "O2 sensor bad, Bank 1, Section 2.". Does that mean it's the one "behind" the converter? Another mechanic friend of mine told me that through his personal experience on these particular vehicles, it's usually that one. Again, thanks for the prompt reply, and info. I'll patiently await your thoughts on this. I don't mind buying both if I need them, but just like everyone else right now, cash is a bit tight!
