My girlfriend has a 1995 Dodge Neon with 101,000 miles. The engine will rotate, but will not start up. We have checked the timing and it is perfect. The crank sensor has been replaced, and the ignition coil has been replaced. Everything in the process from the coil to the cylinders is right. There seems to be a problem somewhere before that. What seems to be happening is that the coil will receive fire for a second, then fire will be cut off; as if electricity has been cut off to the coil. Before this happened, the dash gauges and instrument panel went crazy. Can this be something related to the auto shut down relay in the black box under the hood, or can it be the PCM? If it's not likely to be those, can the camshaft sensor be affecting it?
