Cooling fan

1998 Dodge Intrepid Automatic. We changed the cooling fan because the old one wasn't working. The car was running fine before we installed the new fan, but now it won't start. It sounds like it's turning over, but won't start. Any ideas?

Have you inspected/tested the relay, the power has to come from the relay in order for the fan to work-could also be a problem with the computer not energizing the relay due to a missing signal from the coolant temperature sensor.
