Electrical problem
2001 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have an aftermarket alrarm w/ remote start installed in my car. A few months back, my battery died and I jumped started the car. Now my headlights flash on and off when I turn the ignition to the run/on position. They flash three times for about 45 seconds each time and then stop. I disconnected the negative battery cable to see if it resets but didn't and I had also reset the alarm by the valet switch under the dash. I checked the relay and also replaced it but it did nothing. What else can it be?

When you reset the valet did you turn the key to run then switch the switch then turn ignition off? Thats how I do it. Is there a led light mounted on the dash somewhere and is it flashing? It should light solid in valet mode.

Yes I did that. The LED light is on steady when it's in valet mode. I also turned the alarm on and let it go through a cycle with the siren sound and lights flashing. I think it's something to do with the ignition wires because if I just turn the key to the run/on position, the headlights flash for the three time sequence. After the three time/flash sequence, they go off.

If the led is lit solid and your still having problem with lights flashing then next step is to unplug alarm module and if the lights stop flashing then the alarm module is bad
