Shakes or Wobbles problem
2000 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

every time I turn on my air and leave it running my car starts shaking, engine light comes on and it will stall. If I turn off air and car for awhile then turn it back on everything is back to normal. What is going on?

Does the engine run normally with the ac off? Also, do you have the same problem with the defroster on?

Yes it runs normal w/o ac on and when the defrost is on it too also runs normal.
