Where exactly is the evaporator located behide the dash.

There is a big "box" in behind the dash. Most of the box is on the right side, but it extends across into the middle of the dash. The evaporator and heater core are inside the box.

It's a major job to get that out of the car as the whole dash has to come out to get to it. I think that book time is about 10 hrs for the job.
