1999 Dodge Intrepid V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My car just cut out at a red light. I don't know what could be wrong. My buddy says that it could be the fuel pump. But where is the fuel pump? In the gas tank?

Try cleaning out the Idle air control valve, EGR and PCV valves and test the throttle position sensor and clean the MAF sensor with an approved cleaner. Also check the fuel pressure.
