I've had my '98 Intrepid since '03. I noticed sometime afterwards that it would smoke a little from the exhaust when idling, when I drove away from a traffic signal, or a parked position. Lately, I've noticed that it smokes more than before. It used to be barely noticeable, but now it's like a cloud of light colored smoke. What could be the cause of this?

Leaking head gasket(s). At the moment, you can just replace the head gaskets without having to do any machining. If you wait until the gaskets are blown, then you will definitely will need to re-surface the heads.
