Have you had your battery checked lately, a bad or low charged battery can give you the no cranking condition, as can loose or corroded terminals. Secondly by the sound that you have to turn the ignitions sometimes 3-4 times to get it to start could mean that the ignition switch is going bad, a easy way to check it is to connect a voltage meter(commonly called a DVM(digital voltage meter) to the start terminal on the starter(it is the small wire attached at the starter terminal), then attempt to start the car and see if you get 12 volts at the starter while attempting to start. If you get 12 volts at the start wire while trying to start but the car willl not start and the battery has tested good, then the starter is probably going bad. Hope this helps
