1997 Dodge Intrepid 4 cyl Automatic 17,000 miles

my ties shake on my car and I am afraid to drive it. It is more like a vibration actually. The steering column shakes a little bit when I did drive it. What could be the problem?

Sometimes tires, wheel bearings, or bent wheels cause extreme vibration, or a wheel may be loose. I think you should get a ride until you can check it. If the wheels feel tight rotate them front to back and have them balanced or have the car roadtested. Not safe, ok
