Engine trys to turn over but will not start, a few days ago the oil light flickered but oil change is within the 3,000 miles. I had this problem before and the fuel pump was replace, no problems for 2 month. After a period of time, the car will start. Then what apears to be no reason, it will not start Car is out side, and the weather is humid and raining.

Are you getting a check engine light? That is the first place to start (Have computer scanned)

All no start problems are diagnosed in the following order.

1. Spark (check plugs, wires, etc)
2. Fuel (Check relay, pump, filter, injectors, etc)
3. Compression (for broken valves, cam lobes, lifters, etc)
4. Computer/sensors (bad contacts, burned wires, failed sensors, faulty computer, etc)

Scanning the computer for codes should be first, but suspecting a bad computer or sensors should be saved for last.
