1997 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 97 dodge intrepid with a 3.5 and I was wondering if the trannsmission out of an intrepid with a 3.3 will work?

You'll need a 97 3.5L. I believe the torque converter was different. And the TCM's were not the same. You can try calling a dealer parts dept. To make sure. Ok? If the converters are the same you'll still have to be careful about using the correct year and model TCM(transmission control module). Ok?
