I replaced the brake pads and rotors a couple months back, less than 5,000 miles and it sounds like they're grinding metal on metal. I cleaned the rotors with brake cleaner before they were installed. Any idea what might be the cause of the early wear?

Thank-you

Sometimes the pads get a piece of dirt, and debris in their surface and make noise, but better check to make sure. 85% of the car is front weight and it is a safety issue. If they were inexpensive, it is for the reason that they have no noise garantee. And may be normal. ok
