The defrost blower is always on, only on defrost. I have no heat or air. Also it appears that the cooling fan does not go on. It also idles at a high rate. I think these are all related, but not sure where to start?

Your defrost is on because the system will default to defrost when there is a vacuum leak. You must find and fix the leak. Open the hood and look for a thin black vacuum hose that appears to go into the car, trace this line, it is usually the leaker. If not check the control head for the heat/ ac/ happy hunting!
