Electrical problem
1991 Dodge Dynasty 4 cyl Automatic unknown miles

Hi. I need some help. I just got a 91 dodge dynasty a few months ago and now none of my gauges work. I've tried puling out the instrument panel and wiggled some wires that were attached to some sort of a plug that goes in the back of the battery gauge and the needles started fluctuating and I don't know if it could be a bad intrument panel or the wiring that I had wiggled. I've even checked all the fuses under the glove box and all are good. Do you have have any ideas of what could be wrong or at least help lead me in the right direction? Thank you

Hi:
If the gauges reacted when you moved the wiring, chances are they are corroded, loose, or there is a break in one of the wires. Also, check for ground straps for the body to make sure they are not damaged or broken. It could all be caused by a bad ground.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
