Suspension problem
2004 Dodge Durango V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I know the shocks on my 2004 Durango (65K) are going as the car bounces significantly over small to meduim bumps and dips. It also makes "rusty spring" or friction noise when it bounces. My bigger concern is that when I travel over normal bumps the rear end of the vehicle literally leaves the ground and kicks to the left. What would cause this?
Thanks,
JIm

if the schocks are bad it could cause it to do this as there is nothing to dampen the movement!

try replacing them and see how it goes, also check the stabilizer bar if equipped.
