Idle drop

Hi
I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 V-8 auto tranny. After engine warms up ,when I stop at a light, engine drops from 700 to 500 rpms. I shift into neutral, then back into drive rpms go back to 700. I've check for a vacuume leak & pvc valve. Thanks

Does it cause any other driveability problems? Very small drop, almost like an accessory ( AC, alt, etc)turning on. Might try cleaning the idle air control valve and the throttle body.

Eveything is off. as stated when I shift to park then back to drive it goes back to 700 RPM. Will Try cleaning idle air and throttle body. thanks for input. Modocdave !
