I have recieved error code P-0455 Evaporative Emission Control System (gross leak). I have no idea where to start looking for this problem. What is it and where could the problem be, and how can I start looking for it and fixing it? HELP PLEASE.

Hi:
First, it could be something as simple as a fuel cap. However, it's indicating that there is an air leak in the EVAP system. If the fuel cap is good and properly tightened, you will need to look for hoses near the tank (charcoal canister) up to the engine compartment that may be broken, pulled off. Or damages. Also, check the fuel filler tube area. There is a smaller hose near the filler, I think it's 1/2", that may be broken.

This code could be set by basically any leak where gas fumes could escape.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
