My 2000 dodge dakota started over heating, goin low on coolant, smoking out of the engine compartment while loosing oil as well, and now has a rough tone to the exhaust after driving it for about 20 minutes to get home. Im guessing the catelaic converter but a professional opinion please?

Are you leaking coolant, or is it disappearing into the the engine? Also, the smoke, is it steam or actuall smoke?

The converter won't cause a coolant loss, so I need to figure out where the oil and coolant are going to help you determine the problem.

Let me know what you find.
Joe.
