1999 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I need to replace the water pump in a 99 dodge dakota, 2 wheel drive, automatic. I am an average amatuer mechanic and do have the tools. I have gotten mixed signals on the difficulty of this job. Some say it's easy, some say it can be quite difficult.
I am trying to save money but I don't want to spend alot of time on the job. I have gotten estimates from $400 to $600. OUCH!
Should I go for it and save or pay a mechanic and have peace of mind?
