1998 Dodge Dakota grinding noise

Hello when I turn right and apply throttle a grinding noise accurs it started years ago now its geting bad I have changed all wheel bearings and universal joints I had rear end open and it wasnt full of metal filings I can use any helpican get thankyou very much its driving me crazy tom

Hi:
can you identify where the noise is coming from? Have you had the CV joints checked? Does it only happen when you turn?

Noise is coming from rear end this is two wheel drive only when I turn right is there any rear end specialist there ty tom

The only thing I can think of is the rear differential needs shimed. This seems to be a common problem with their differentials. When shimmed, the problem should be fixed.
