instrument cluster not working

My dash cluster stopped working no guages. they come on once in a while and work for about a minute and cut off again.

This happens when the cluster has bad connection or the cluster is going out itself. I would remove the cluster and unplug the connector to see if there is corrosion if not replace the cluster here is a video of the job being done on a similar car.
