1992 Dodge Dakota oil pressure guage original accessory

My oil pressure guage sems to register mostly in the middle. When I start it up on a cold day, warm day, engine cold or warmed up. It stays in the middle at idle or moving. What should I do to check what is going on with this.

That sounds normal; however, if you are concerned, I would start by replacing the oil sending unit. It's above the oil filter, not an expensive part, and easy to replace.
