I own a 1988 Dodge Dakota 4 x 4 with a 3.9l V6\r\n
Several years ago a problem started that still exists. That problem is, while driving and random speeds the vehicle will act "sluggish" for a quick few seconds. I release the gas and slowly engage the gas pedal and the problem stops. There is no specific time the problem occurs or no specified amount of times it happens.

I've had the truck to a Dodge dealership with no success and have had it to several mechanics with no success. Virtually all parts mechanically have been replaced, everything in the fuel lines, sensors and anything else related to the fuel system.

The electgrical harness has not been replaced. I cannot tell if it's a "fuel" problem or an electrical problem. PLEASE HELP!

This is going back a few years. Do you have a carb or injection?

For as old as it is, oddly enough it is injected.

Even though you replaced all of the parts, I still recommend checking fuel pump pressure. Have you done that?

Let me know.
