I have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.0 liter engine with about 116,000 miles.

My problem is that both the left and right break lights don't come on when the brakes are pushed. Both brake lights went out at the same time. a couple of days ago. I checked the fuse and replaced it. still nothing. the regular lights work the reverse lights work I pulled the bulb out and can't see a break in the filiment. What else could it be?

behind your break pedal , there is a breaking switch which is pressed when you press your break pedal. Make sure that it is plugged in; it may have been disconected somehow.
