Hello I just found your site through google, and it seems as though you guys have alot of very useful info on here. The question I have is in regards to a 2000 dodge caravan se that I purchased used, it is an automatic, with 182,000 miles on a 3.3 liter engine, and the van runs great, but the anti theft system keeps wanting to arm itself. I disconnected the ground wire from the alarm speaker under the hood, but that just makes it to where I don't hear it arming itself and I am worried that the battery will go dead due to the constant arming and disarming of the system. What could be the cause of this problem, and is it something I can fix myself or do I need to take to a dealer? Thank you for any help you can give me with this.

Try turning your ignition key to the ON position
with out starting the car, then flip the valet switch
( under the dashboard) to the oposite position that it is in now.) Remove key & wait for the LED light to flash every 5 secs. If it does, It should now be in the override mode & the car should start.

Good Luck,
Young Mick
