I have seen this a few times on caravans. The needle was swept pass the stopper and is now on the wrong side.
If you have access to a scantool that can to functional tests, then do a sweep test on the gauges and this should correct the problem after you work the needle back to its proper position. If not, you can simply remove the cluster and tilt it upside down to move the needle back to its proper place.
