2003 Dodge Caravan EVAP lare leak

2003 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

evamp service light code shows a large leak. Car misses on excelaration. How do I find the leak?

First be sure the gas cap is tight.

The evap pump sits under the floor by the driver's feet. Start by checking around it for ripped or loose hoses. Large leaks can often be seen. Small evap leaks are easiest to find by using a smoke machine. It forces white smoke up to 2 pounds of pressure into the system, then you just look the system over to see where the smoke is coming out.
