I'm working on a 2003 caravan 3.3 liter A/C system. At this point I have replaced the compressor twice and now have a failure in the third compressor. The first one failed due to an intermittent problem with the high pressure switch but even after replacing the switch two compressors have failed.I know what your thinking...yes I did flush the system each time before replacing the compressor. And yes I did replace the dryer as well. the TXV is also new. Pressures are approx. 165 high- 30 low at idle when fans are engaged. System cycles. I'm at a loss to why the compressors have failed. Am I missing something or could it be a problem with the supplier?
